There’s something truly special about weddings in Northern Ireland—especially when the venue is as stunning as Montalto Estate. Nestled in the rolling hills of County Down, it’s the perfect place for a couple’s big day. We were delighted to be invited along to cater for a recent wedding there—and even more thrilled to serve up our signature wood-fired pizzas late into the evening!
A Feast from Day to Night
We made sure every guest was well-fed and happy. The day started with elegant seasonal dishes for the wedding breakfast—locally sourced ingredients, flavourful herbs (yes, including plenty of garlic and thyme!), and beautifully plated mains that got plenty of compliments.
But the real crowd-pleaser came later…
Evening Pizza Under the Stars
As the sun began to set and the party got into full swing, we fired up our mobile pizza oven and started slinging handcrafted pizzas for hungry guests. The smell alone was enough to pull people off the dance floor!
We served a mix of classics—Margherita, Pepperoni, and Mushroom—alongside a few fun twists like Local Sausage with Onions and Spicy Nduja with Honey Drizzle. Each pizza was served hot and fast. There’s something about fired pizza at 10pm that just hits differently!
